1977 Triumph 2500S review from UK and Ireland

"A well-kept seventies secret"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Gearbox bearings, the usual rust, blown alternator, cracked windscreen, more rust :)

General comments?

Still the most satisfying car I've ever driven, especially given the gorgeous exhaust note!

Horrifically uneconomical (27mpg on a run if you're lucky), but fast enough to scare many modern cars.

Very comfortable, if a little soft on the springs - or maybe my car needs new shocks.

I'd *never* sell it!
