1990 Nissan 240SX Base review from North America
"Way better than any civic, prelude, integra, crx, corolla period"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Starter went at 265,000kms, but it was relatively east to fix, cost me about $90 and about 2 hours of my time.
Rear Struts needed to be replaced only because previous owner had sand bags in the back 7 1/2 months out of the year.
Belt squeal on startup, had it replaced, but squeals again 7 months later so I just bought a $5 can of belt dressing, a lot cheaper than another belt.
General comments?
This car is awesome, handles amazing, very peppy with lots of low end torque, funnest car I've ever driven. Motor is so reliable to, I've been trying to blow it up so I could replace it with an SR20DET, but I just can't wreck the darn thing (by the way I'm 19, I drive it really hard. I guess mobil one helps lots)
