2004 Hyundai Matrix CDX review from UK and Ireland
"Great trouble free motoring at a great price"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Nothing.
General comments?
Nice comfortable seats for the longer journey.
Lots of space up front, but have found the rear to be quite cramped especially for up market 0 - 4 years child seats.
I think the tight turning circle is one of its better assets.
I like the design of the car, especially the layout of the dash, but its takes some getting used to looking at center clocks.
I picked a second hand Hyundai for the warranty, lets face it, what other manufacturer will give me 4 years unlimited miles warranty with two years free servicing and 2 years RAC cover on a second hand vehicle.
I consider myself to be a very gentle driver and hav'nt taken the car over 60, never race to lights or stop in 2 seconds flat, hardly have the A/C on, but I still can't seem to get any better than 33mpg. But maybe the engine needs to wear in a bit yet.
