"Cheap, nippy, but getting old!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
When I bought it, I had to return it to the dealers to get the drive shaft replaced, and the speaker had blown.
Within the past couple of years, I have had to spend a lot of money. This included: Fixing rear suspension, Drive shaft (again), clutch assembly, indicator switch replaced, thermostat needed replacing, head gasket blown.
General comments?
It is getting old, and much of this is to be expected. It was an excellent first time buy, but since they stopped making them in 1997 make sure you get it checked over if you want to buy one!
Servicing is cheap compared to newer makes and models of car (no on-board computer to get fixed!)
It does around 50mpg
