1990 Daihatsu Charade G102 review from Australia and New Zealand
"The BEST car for under $2000"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Hmmm, Tires keep going bald, can't seem to think why ;), The suspension is completely gone, mainly due to our extremely poor 5 minute dirt road into town, the radiator sprung a leak, got it reco'd for about $150, that's all!
General comments?
This car is a rock and you can't kill it. Will take a lot of punishment. I bought this car about 4 years ago, last car was a 1 litre 2 door version. Same story, replaced a split CV boot. Amazing perfomance, smokes all my mates cars (XF, Pintara, Excel ;), my girlfriend has just purchased a 1 litre 1990 model and it is an amazing car for $900. Throw some 14" mags on and you are away. I'm out to buy a feroza now.
