2002 Chevrolet TrailBlazer LS review from North America
"Comfortable, powerful and spacious"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
3 recalls fixed: wiper motor, tail light assembly and gear shift block. At 48000 I had to have the fan clutch replaced- $310 total cost. This is a common problem. It is an unmistakable problem to notice- the once very quiet motor now sounds like a school bus, loud blowing noise, driving feels the same though. The drivers door switches stopped working- discovered the electrical wires came unhooked in the door jamb, fixed myself.
General comments?
Very quick with 275 hp. I traded a Jeep Grand Cherokee in for this car and have no regrets. Lots of room for passengers and storage. I have towed a lot and have had plenty of power to do so. Great steering and very smooth, quiet ride. Four wheel drive worked well in snow and on muddy hills. Plenty of leg room and comfortable seats. I would purchase the LT in the future just because it has more gadgets and creature comforts (same motor).
