1989 Audi 80 review from Greece
"I think this is a very valuable car and it will remain for years.."
What things have gone wrong with the car?
First of all, the hood and the doors paint gone off.Rusted.No problem, i will get new.
The carburetor sometimes got full of filths and its base tear apart.
Brakes warm up quickly when braking a lot.
The steering is too heavy.
Not so good horsepower.
Water temperature will easily go up to 100 C.
General comments?
Nice body.
It is stable on the road and in every corner.
Short transmission->acceleration.
Very good on snow.
It can make it up to 8000rpm-i tried it-.
Though I am a 19 years old guy and I just took the car from my dad, i think this is the best car for the beginning... cause maybe it is not so fast, but it has good acceleration though to the gear transmission (short) and because it has 185km/h when I need it.
I just put exhaust, wing and spoilers... and I will continue... and keep this car as many years as I can.
And it has a lot of space in the front for additional things... such us turbo kit, new engine-like from RS- and so...
