1983 Mitsubishi Scorpion GL review from Australia and New Zealand
"This car is cool.."
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Blown heater by-pass hose. (Closely followed by cooked head).
Broken rear universal joint.
Indicator switch has a five second delay for some reason...
And what is with those dodgy mag wheels! (You know, the square inside a circle)?
General comments?
I really like this car. It only has one bad point to it, and that is a lack of spare parts in wrecking yards.
It now has a manual 2.6 Astron manual 5 speed that acts like it has power band. 1st, 2nd and third gear suddenly gets a whole lot more power at around 3,500 RPM.
Interior is rather spacious and very comfortable. And the shape of the body makes them look fast even when they aren't moving.
