2004 Renault Laguna Dynamique Techno review from UK and Ireland

No major problems with the car. Purchased it in January and is still operating excellently. Had one minor problem that flap on dashboard did not close, but that was immediately replaced under warranty by Renault. Apart from that there were no other problems.

Outstanding car that has a good performance and handling. Modern styling and top safety rating. Very well-equipped as standard, even to the point of adding features other manufacturers don't even offer as extras - like tyre pressure monitor and key less entry. Comfortable seats with a good driving position. Fair amount of space for driver and passengers. Practical with good boot space and many power points which are quite handy.

The cabin is not that stylish and looks more like a high street attempt at couture design. It's just nice, no more, no less. It is also quite expensive to run as insurance is costly along with petrol fees. Computerized system makes the car drive slowly at times so you have to put your foot down to make it fast again. Reliability is said to be poor with the Laguna, but mine seems to be working fine. I'll just have to wait and see how things turn out as the mileage increases.
