What things have gone wrong with the car?
The left rear runing light shorts out with alarming frequency. I have been told that this is to do with slamming the boot or trunk lid down instead of lowering down slowly and then letting it drop.
Handbrake cover is worn from where I habitually leave my hand.
Climate Control takes quite a lot longer to produce cold air on a hot day than when first bought, but that's probably to be expected after 200,000 plus kilometres.
Some of the LED lights in the rear wing (spoiler) do not work anymore and it looks a little cheap when you have half the light bar at the back light up when you brake.
That is all that has gone wrong with my 1996 Nissan Maxima SE Automatic over the past nearly 10 years. Amazing!
General comments?
Exceptional value for money.
Fantastic V6.
Handles well considering standard tyres.
Automatic transmission a little sluggish at lower speeds.
I love it.
