1991 Holden Calais VP review from Australia and New Zealand
"A classy, comfortable, reliable, car which has all the power and torque that you need"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
No problems until well over the 100,000 km mark.
Problems included a hole in the exhaust manifold (was replaced).
Leak in the power steering, this had to be repaired twice within a year, the garage insisted that it was a different part that went wrong the second time.
Replaced the brake-disks then six months later they had to be re-surfaced.
General comments?
I bought this car in 1994 and still have it after 11 years, what more can I say?
I'm ready to sell it now, as I'm about to retire.
In spite of the Problems, I have loved this car, it's got all the power and comfort that one could ask for.
This car has never let me down.
