1985 Ford Falcon XF review from Australia and New Zealand
"Best...car...ever"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Minor oil leak from somewhere.
Broken door mirror.
Broken tail-light.
Seats had to be replaced.
Few rust spots here and there.
Pinhole puncture in top radiator hose nearly cooked the engine, luckily caught it in time.
General comments?
Awesome touring car, easily a match for anything else on the road.
Only beaten once off the line, that was by a Suby Legacy and he had a rolling start. Anything else just had no show. Felt sorry for them really.
XF just has so much power, even on LPG, so smooth through the transmission, so many of them about that parts are dirt cheap.
