1997 Chevrolet Malibu Sedan review from North America
"Biggest dissapointment in my life"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Alternator 10,000 miles, brake lights replaced about 7-8 times, power stearing failed at 61,500 miles, rotors replaced four times, driver side seat is stuck, strange noises and sqeaks throught out the car, new injectors replaced around 80,000 miles, car shakes uncontrollably, water sepage in the front lights, intake leak at around 70,000 miles, stalled on me numerous times around 90,000 miles, hissing sound like a duranged snake comes from the driver side rear wheel, driver side window does not function at all, and the list goes on and on.
General comments?
This is my father's car and I felt it was such a terrible piece of worthless garbage, I needed to do a review. I'm only twenty years old, but I've owned my share of GMs. This car is dispicable. I can honestly not think of any high points for this piece of crap. I'm sorry to all who have owned this vehicle. I don't know if we should bring it to my job and crush it with the cherry picker, or give it to charity. The care is worth about two hundred dollars. I would rather own a Ford Festiva. What a waste of hard earned money.
