1995 Mazda Eunos Cosmo Type-SX review from Australia and New Zealand
"Japan's most technically advanced car for its day"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Front disc brakes start to warp after prolonged hard use, this is due to the weight/brake size ratio being in favor of cost cutting.
Climate control module started behaving erratically.
General comments?
The power-to-weight ratio on this car exceeds most Japanese sports cars.
With over 400nM of torque at just 3500rpm, the Cosmo is a mountain pulling freight train when cruising the motorways.
The seating is so comfortable that you can do a 500km trip with ease, turn around & do it all again in a breeze.
Ergonomics are also excellent with everything within easy reach & at the touch of a button.
The Cosmo is a classic touring coupe. It doesn't handle like its RX-7 brother, but a touring car doesn't need to.
