1992 Fiat Tipo SX review from Portugal
"A car for life if you take good care of it"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The clutch doesn't last much more than 50,000 km.
Had to change the front right wheel bearings at 150,000 km.
General comments?
This car is much more than it appears to be as it provides anyone who drives it responsibly with a fantastic ride and it just doesn't let you down.
It really does handle like its on rails and deserves to receive the best attention and maintenance from the owner.
I recently had a car stopping in front of me when I was doing 100 km/h on a motorway at like less than 100 yeards in front of me and when I pressed the brakes and it responded very well, it blocked a bit since it doesn't have ABS, but I easily managed to get it in the right direction right after. Responded very safely and responsibly.
