2003 Mazda 2 review from Australia and New Zealand
"Mostly good"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Drivers side electric window will not shut. It goes a certain way up and then returns to the down position. The amount the window goes up appears random. It is not stopping at the same point every time. Most common on cold winter mornings. Brrrrr. Service centre unable to replicate fault.
Dash-lights and tail lights go out at seemingly random times when the headlights are on. The headlights stay on and the brake and reversing lights work. The gauges work although they are hard to see. The service centre cannot replicate the fault and at night in a dark car you cannot been seen from behind until you brake and you don't brake because you can't see how fast you are going.
General comments?
Manual is lovely to drive. I have done over 700 ks in one trip.
Excellent economy
Very happy generally, but the aberrantt behaviour of the electricals is getting me down.
