2001 Aston Martin DB7 Vantage review from UK and Ireland
"Flawed. Beauty is not an excuse"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Battery went flat every two weeks if it was left standing in the garage.
Differential went, costing dealer 3k under warranty to fix. At 5.5k miles, there is no excuse for this.
General comments?
This is the most beautiful car in the world (the vantage only), especially in Bucks green. Too many problems though. Especially with a car that cost 100k new with touchtronic. Buy a used xkr, atleast it will start and you won't have to stomach crippling depreciation. Lost £25k in a year! Put 1.5k miles on it and it was used. You will have no choice but to sell to a dealer. They have to be mint with low mileage. £1500 to service.
