1983 Oldsmobile Delta 88 royale review from North America
"I will get another Oldsmobile... mark my words!!!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
It was just its time to go I guess.
The state hauled it off before I got back home with the 350 rocket I bought for it to in my "Sonya" (the Delta88).
I cry to this very day it has been two years now.
General comments?
America did not know what a fine line of cars we had from 1897-2005 it was know in the 1950-present to real fans of the car company as the rocket corporation.
Any car the engine that had, shoehorned or retrofitted a Rocket 350 up to the mightiest of all Oldsmobile motors the 455 rocket made an Oldsmobile or any car that has that engine between the fenders or their car knows the power that company produced.
The most sought after collector car ever sold in an auction was televised and it was an Oldsmobile, the model was a concept of similar car (maybe the sister car to the 1953 Corvette that never was),the F88 sold for 3.5 million big ones that has to say a lot for a company, but I guess not to GM.
I am definitely disenchanted about their downfall, but the will never, ever be forgotten as the one the few who started the muscle car movement and who car be called a true American automobile.
