2004 Hyundai Elantra GLS review from Australia and New Zealand
"A good car in its class, despite a few refinement issues"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Rear suspension squeaks when going over bumps.
There is a high-pitch rattle coming from the rear speaker.
There is a rattle in the exhaust.
Gear shift into 2nd can crunch at high rpms.
General comments?
Came well equippied and qute roomy for the price.
Handling is soft with lots of body roll and understeer.
There are quite a few noise, vibration, harshness issues. Which I am going to see the dealer about.
However having said that it's a comfortable, cheap and nice looking ride.
Still one of the best cars in its class.
