1981 Chrysler Valiant Regal review from Australia and New Zealand
"Powerful comfy sleeper ;)"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Badly rusting under vinyl roof.
Fuel gauge stopped working.
Valve guides worn, smoky when starting of a cold morning.
General comments?
Goes very hard, gives mums AU XR6 a run for its money.
Most comfortable car I have ever been in, better than new fairlanes and statesmans.
Handles well, but it could be better.
Serious towing ability, and legal due to full chassis and decent engine/trans setup (eat that holden).
Very easy to drive (i learnt to drive in it).
