1996 Citroen ZX Advantage review from UK and Ireland
"Cheap, reliable, perfectly adequate, but not the most eye catching car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
CV joint (£100 to fix per side)
Various intermittent lights (Replace bulbs very cheaply)
General comments?
The engine has always started first time in all weather conditions and runs perfectly with well over 100,000k miles on it.
The engine requires VERY little maintenance and I'm sure it would go on FOREVER if looked after.
It's not a fast car, but it cruises on A roads fine, it does rev quite high on the motorway though.
The handling is surprisingly good (identical to the 306).
I often get comments of how comfy the interior is.
This car is a perfect workhorse for somebody not interested in the looks of a car.
