1998 Audi A4 SE review from UK and Ireland
"I love this car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The clips holding on the rubber strips at the bottom of the doors decayed and all the strips had to be replaced, not a major outlay £26 per strip.
The radiator pipe leaked and had to be replaced, £25.
General comments?
The car has nearly everything you could ever want, its nicely designed inside and out which is actually quite unusual, usually car manufacturers spend time on the outside of the car, but the dashboard just looks like it's been abandoned half way through.
The cabin houses comfortable adjustable seats, the dashboard is one big smooth unit with everything buit in, an onboard computer lets you know everything from a light bulb not working, to the radio station you're listening to.
Outside it's got 15 inch alloys as standard, and is a good looking car, very reliable, only thing I would say though is the headlights are a bit dull in this model and the lack of a rear window wiper can be annoying.
Overall I love this car it looks good inside and out and has loads of gadgets to play with.
