1981 Datsun 310 Sunny Fastback review from UK and Ireland
"Its ugly, it smells but ever so reliable."
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Slight problem with the exhaust manifold bellowing out fumes into the cabin, but this was rectified with holts exhause paste and a hammer.
Seats are as comfortable as 30 year old habitat bean bags seats, but this encourages a slouchy driving positioning which adds to the sleaziness of the car.
Interior smells of rodent urine, but I'm either getting used to it or its fading away.
General comments?
Starts on the button every morning, so far has been a breeze to maintain - very simple mechanics and accessible points. S13 Silvia seats will be grafted into it, which will enhance the experience considerably.
Looks like a ghost train, now I've lowered it, painted the wheels red and the body matt black.
The back lights have been glued toegther. I need a set of replacement rear lenses. Help me.
