1980 Volvo 244 GL review from Australia and New Zealand
"Great Car and comfortable and reliable"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The Drivers Inside door handle had perished and tape jhad been used.
It seems to have a bit of a knock in the steering, but I am soon to get this Investigated.
At the moment fuel economy I put $30 of fuel almost 30 liters and I have done 160klm and now is almost on empty.??
The only real problem is the leg room I am 6ft 2 and I find there is a big bulky plastic thing along side where your leg goes that is a bit uncomfortable when you drive.
General comments?
This is a nice car to drive it is in excellent condition and only 175000 klm.
No Oil leaks which is a bonus drives very smooth lots of room in the back for a family and it is comfortable lights are nice and bright especially High beam. And it is nice and solid hence probably the bad fuel econ I don't know I will take it in for a service and see how we go, but it is fuel injected.
The seats are comfortable and is nice on long drives if you keep your left leg up and the best thing I love is I live in a cold area and it starts first time and reaches a normal tep very quick, but does not over heat overall I am only 29 I have had all the fast cars a V8 and other cars and found this the best car I have ever had..
