1995 Mazda 626 LX review from North America
"If Mazda have improved its automatic transmissions over the years, then I would definately buy again"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The transmission required rebuilding after having the car for 6 months (100k)
Second transmission replaced after 138k miles.
Third transmission being replaced now.
My current mileage is 200k.
I've just replaced the timing belt just to be safe (because of the high mileage)
Power Antenna - stopped working a long time ago.
General comments?
This car is very economical on gas.
The A/C is terrific, even on the hottest of days.
It's easy to park because of its compact size, and roomy enough to
comfortable seat 4 adults and 1 child.
This is the original engine, and after
logging 200k mile, I find this to be probably the best thing about this '95 626.
