1997 Ford Ranger XLT review from North America
"Great Truck"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Drivers side motor mount went bad. Easy fix.
The dreaded dome light had been staying on. That was an easy fix, as you all know.
The heater switch coil, for the fan speed, is bad. I can't seem to get the clip off no matter what I spray on it or pry it with.
General comments?
I definitely love my ranger, it has really been a very reliable truck.
My only problem with it is that the power from the engine really fluctuates depending on the weather. Seeing how the 2.3 doesn't have much to work with it really kind of becomes a hassle. Especially when you need the power.
I tend to have more power when the bed is loaded down. Seems odd, but that's when I really need it.
