2000 Ford Cougar 16v review from UK and Ireland
"An individual looker with good all round performance - pity about the seats!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Nothing to date - though it has only just hit 10,000 miles.
General comments?
The front seats are awful. You slide all around them when cornering and I find myself having to constantly pull myself up after having slid down them like a baby in a high chair! - No matter what position I set them in. This is the only major niggle - but it's pretty serious.
The paintwork on mine also left a bit to be desired - several blemises and faults on close inspection. I've polished it up well to prevent premature rusting and if any do appear I'll be straight back to the dealer...
