1991 Nissan Primera SLX review from Estonia

Oxygen sensor replacement. It didn't work already when I bought this car.

Water pump leaked and I had to replace it. Also was already leaking.

Right headlight igniting problems, I repaired the switch with soldering iron.

Rear muffler replaced.

Oil leaking from bonnet sealing. I replaced the sealing once, but the new one (not mentioning the manufacturer), started leaking again after 3000 km.

I had to repair rear windscreen wiper's motor.

With full tank sometimes gasoline smell in saloon.

Mystically rainwater is coming into saloon from passengers side. Tried to find the hole, but couldn't find it.

Multilink sleeves replaced on one side.

Power steering pump is making noises (needs replacement)

Very good handling due to multi-link suspension. Though suspension is quite stiff for bad Estonian roads.

Very good headlamps.

Not enough space in drivers seat (I'm 6'3 tall), the steering wheel remains too low despite of regulating option and not enough room for knees.

Quite thirsty engine, in winter no problem to waste 13-15 liters per 100 km in city. Although the medium consumption is about 9-10 liters per 100 km.

Good acceleration - 9,9 seconds to 100 km/h.

Problems with switching to reverse or first gear.

Good overall build quality.

Big boot and hatchback is very practical.
