1989 Chevrolet Corsica 4 door sedan review from North America
"One of the biggest pieces of crap I've ever seen!!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
*Leaking head gasket.
*Ignition went, was unable to turn off the car. Had to disconnect the battery just to shut it off.
*Entire exhaust/muffler system fell off.
*Alternator went.
*Shocks.
*Brakes.
*Battery.
*Driver door-lock barely works.
*Fuel blockages.
General comments?
I've owned this car for little over 8 months and every month it seems my car is "out of service" for at least a week.
I do not drive it hard, nor did the previous owner. He was an older man who was unable to drive anymore. And I've had nothing, but problems with it.
Lucky enough I only paid 500$ Can for it. I wouldn't have paid more! I've put more into repairs than anything into this car.
I wouldn't recommend anyone to get a Corsica, unless you pay 100$ for it. Truly a hunk of junk, more headache than enjoyment.
