1997 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe review from North America
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Driver's seat is a little worn. CD player does not work. Key fob does not work.
General comments?
My previous car was a 1992 Eagle Talon TSi, it was heavily modified and very fast, but I wanted a car that was a little flashier. So I bought a Corvette.
The 1997 corvette I bought is in immaculate condition considering its age. The car handles amazing. The car really pulls hard at any rpm. I have only given it about 1/3 throttle and it really knocks me back in the seat. My old talon ran mid 13s at the track, but, my corvette is faster judging by the seat of the pants dyno. My corvette isn't stock it has a vararam induction system and a B & B PRT triflow cat back. Overall I am pleased with the performance. The cars looks absolutely gorgeous its 8 years old and still one of the better looking cars out on the road.
