1993 Geo Metro 2 door Hatchback review from North America
"FUN FUN FUN and Laughing when I gass up"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Bought it from a friend for 200.00.
Battery dead (60.00) cheaper if I had more time to shop. Wanted to get it running.
Starter dead (138.00 included the relay/solenoid) Could've bid online for 65 + 15 shipping.
Tires shot (100.00) from Walmart.
Antenna broken (16 + shipping online)
Radio knob (3.00)
Stalls at the lights with the A/C on and outside temps at 100 +. (No suprise there).
General comments?
First this car is fun. Glorified go cart with A/C.
Came with 4 snow tires in the back, one baby seat, and 2.50 in change scattered around the interior, knockin down my cost.
Paint is good, interior is great. No busted or worn out plastic pieces.
I'm 6-2 and have good leg room in it.
About 500.00 outlay to have a very nice commuter.
I have had it 2 days and have had 3 offers to buy it at 1,000.00 plus. Fully intend on doing that when I bought. Just fix the thing up and make a quicky profit.
I am NOT gonna sell this thing. I am having way too much fun. If you want to trade your 63 split window Corvette, well I'll talk to you.
If you can find one, and don't have a car ego, jump on this. Easy to dress up and still has very decent look.
Pass one up and regret it. Test one out if you need a commuter and grocery getter. You can't beat the price or the satisfaction when you fill up and go for miles of FUN.
