1996 Volkswagen Cabrio Highline review from North America
"Great, reliable, economical, and cute car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
No sound from radio. Necessary to replace speakers and antenna.
Leather on driver's seat splitting.
Air bag light stays on.
General comments?
This is a terrific little car, and gasoline at $3.00 a gallon and going up all the time, a very economical car.
I commute 60 miles a day to work, so I leave my Grand Am home and drive my Cabrio.
Besides regular maintenance, have never put major money into this car.
The best $1800.00 dollars I ever spent.
It's cheaper to buy a car, than buy gas.
