2001 Chrysler Sebring Sedan LX review from North America
"Pay for the warranty it will pay for itself"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
At 75000 km the heater resistor needed to be replaced, then replaced a 2nd time 13 months later.
Odd rattle in center area under car, dealer said normal, but after extensive web research I found a Tsb to correct the problem.
Dash lights flicker from bright to dull.
Transmission leaks (fixed tranny solenoid twice)
Engine leaks (seals needed replacing at 80ooo km)
Brakes wear prematurely on 15 inch rim size.
Front suspension needed a lot of work at 100000 km (no accidents) - replaced tie rods, control arms, sway bar links and bushings, front struts.
Tranny surges and is loud.
There are more little problems, but the one listed are the real annoying ones.
General comments?
The car is pretty quick due to the 200hp 2.7 engine and the interior is roomy.
I like the overall appearance of the car
and it has nice sporty look for a 4 door sedan.
