1988 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera International Series review from North America
"A dependable piece of machinery from the guys at GM"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
EGR valve doesn't work (doesn't affect performance of the car).
Rear brakes lock up when it's damp out e.g. raining.
General comments?
I'm very pleased with my car. It's pretty stylish for a Cutlass Ciera and it's in peak condition, both mechanically and cosmetically.
The 3.8L V6 comes in handy when accelerating or passing on the highway, it really feels and drives like a V8... and it gets good mpg. However, it's a bit sluggish when accelerating from a dead stop.
