2002 Cadillac DeVille Biarritz review from North America
"Fifty years of the modern American family car have culminated with the DeVille"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The On-star/Telephone antenna mounted on the back window fell off as the result of driving through a squall. Replaced under warranty.
The steering became heavy in parking conditions, demanding the replacement of the power-steering pump, under warranty.
General comments?
The Biarritz model gussies up the otherwise plain car with a vinyl landau top, and a chrome strip that runs the belt line from the c-pillar forward.
Four place heated seats, three zone climate control, creamy leather, and enough space to hide a Clydesdale make this the ultimate long distance cruiser.
This is the quickest, best handling, full-size sedan I have ever owned, foreign or domestic.
It seems strange to overtake BMW's at stoplights in a car that looks like this.
