1995 Geo Tracker LX review from North America

Nothing except routine maintenance performed by husband and sons.

I just want to point out that this is the toughest and best little car ever owned!!!

I have to tell you one for your books

My husband, God rest his soul (he died last year) had a penchant for buying used cars and trucks from a very reliable used car dealer that we knew and liked. We must have gotten 5 or 6 cars/trucks from them. This little car is a white, Geo tracker, auto on the floor with overdrive. I have by accident put it in overdrive and driven miles and miles - this corrected

by a disbeleving son and son in law.

But the best - I volunteer for Red Cross since the Hurricane disasters. Being the kind of person who swings aboard the jet as it is taxiing down the runway, I was late and hurried up to run in. I have two identical sets of keys and key rings, thanks to my husband. I THOUGHT I had turned off the car, pulled out the key, and locked

the doors.

Four hours and 83 degrees in Louisville later, I walked out when my shift was over. I heard a faint running noise as I approached my car. IT WAS STILL RUNNING!!! I had taken my extra key in my purse, thought I had pulled out the ignition key and walked off and left it running.

Of course, we had to go to the nearest

gas station. It did not even run hot!!! I took it to the mechanic today and he could find nothing wrong with it from a cursory inspection. Told me to come back if anything suspicious happened, but I just drove in again to Red Cross, 28 more miles, and it ran just fine. All I can do is

stroke the dash and tell it what a fine car it was. I know this is kind of lengthy, but with so much negative I feel like my car adds something positive.
