1995 Peugeot 306 XN review from UK and Ireland
"A car that offers performance, reliability and low running costs pure and simple"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The car finds it hard to start up on a cold morning, starts up only when a lot of acceleration is applied whilst turning the key,
left back door does not open,
windows are tough to wind down,
gear some times jumps out when accelerating quick when driving.
The car just seems to have little problems wrong with it that have been caused by the how much it has been used and had a hard life on a farm by the previous owner.
General comments?
I feel that I should mention that for all its small faults it makes it up on performance and how it held the road. I don't know if any other 306 drivers have experienced this or if my car is just some freakish example the car maybe sluggish in lower gears, but once you put it into 5th gear it would keep on accelerating to speeds going over 120mph, it would even reach over 100mph on a steep uphill dual carriage ways. Also the car would offer good mpg and cheap tax and insurance.
