1998 Chrysler Intrepid SE review from North America
"Typical American car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
-Left side windows wont run right after the car was bought.
-Starter began to fail on me at 85 000km. The car wouldnt start at the "first key". The dealer changed ONLY the terminals on the battery for $130 cad. In the end the started had to be changed. I bought a rebuilt one which cost $300 with labor included. The mechanics couldnt detect the problem, thats why I decided on my own that the starter had to be changed.
- The dashboard is made of cheap quality plastic and sometimes sounds funny when driving on bumpy roads.
General comments?
-The car is amazing on acceleration. I love it especially when I enter the highway I always step on it.
-Huge trunk with plenty of space. The car is big and very comfortable. The rear passengers will appreciate the spacious legroom.
-Intimidates other drivers when seen in the rear-view mirror :).
