2003 Lamborghini Murcielago review from North America
"Crazy bull"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Had clutch replaced twice, but not the cars fault.
General comments?
Let me start off by saying that I am 16, and this is my fathers car.
My Dad goes out of town a lot, and it gives me a lot of time to drive it, but As you can guess, I take this thing out as much as I can, but if my father found out I did he would literally kill me. The only thing I don't like about this car is that the clutch is very light. There has never been a time I took it out and didn't stall at least a couple of times. At 15,000 miles my father already replaced the clutch twice, but he is out of town a lot and doesn't have a lot of time to drive it (almost had it for 2 years and only 15,000 miles on it). Other than the clutch there is no problems with it. It is very fast, and powerful compared to my Acura RSX I got for my birthday. The thing I love about this car the most is the adrenalin rush you get as you rev the huge v12 and hear the beautiful roar of it behind you just before you take off at blistering speeds. Of course you might guess that the running cost is crazy for this car. My fathers insurance is nearly 3X mine and I am 16, and he is 43. As for the interior, I just love the perfectness of it, especially the gear shifter, I love it. The seats arn't as comfortable as the seats in my RSX, but seriously, who thinks about that when they are driving the bull? I couldn't tell you about the stereo system because I've never once used it, but again, who uses the stereo when they are driving the bull? not I. Finally, I have to say that if you drive this thing around, you are due for A lot of attention. There has been many a time when people have asked my father about the car, complimented on it, took pictures etc. etc. We just love the attention!
If you can afford this true beast, get the bull, you won't be disappointed!
