1995 Jeep Cherokee Sport review from North America
"Great reliable"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The jeep is a 95 cherokee with a 4 inch superlift, 4.56 gears front and rear with a detroit locker in the rear. Sitting on 32inch pro comps. It has been a wheeling truck since 125,000 miles. I bought if from someone I knew. At a 170,000 I blew a head gasket, MUDDING of course. 173,000 I killed all eight track arm bushings on the front axle. Bent front driveshaft, and replaced the hubs even though they werent too bad. This is all because of MORE MUDDING.
General comments?
These things go forever if you treat them well. My last jeep was 1991 Jeep cherokee automatic 4 liter and I blew an oil pump mudding with 230,000 miles. I do not hesitate to hold back on my jeeps. So stuff breaks. Jeepers creed: BUILD IT, DRIVE IT, BREAK IT, FIX IT, REPEAT! But over all pretty much one of the most solid suvs out there in the american market, Japan doesn't even come close.
