2001 Daewoo Tacuma SX review from Poland
"The prices of the newdoes not reflect the expected quality, but comfortable and no problems."
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Camshaft sensor broke down. Replaced under guarantee. Handling on bad surface roads is unstable. But on highways no problems. Soft suspension is a problem here.
General comments?
The car is said to have suspension designed by Porshe. Well, Daewoo should then claim the money back. It's loud in the rear and soft in the front. Some may say that 1.8 litre engine is to lazy for the car, 2.0 is better. But I wouldn't complain here. It's not a race car. Cockpit plastics are really bad compared to the price of the car as new (in Poland between 63000 - 70000 zloties, 1 USD = 3.2 zl). I bought it for 44000 zl. That's okay taking into account the mileage and remaining one year guarantee. Spare parts available the same as for Lanos, Nubira and Leganza and for reasonable prices. No problems here.
