2004 Hyundai Terracan crtd review from UK and Ireland

From new, seats loose (leather option fitted in Hyundai UK, bolts never tightened when seats re-fitted)

Car selecting 4WD all on it's own on bends in the road no less. Had to find out from an Australian owner that it had a faulty diff. Hyundai UK would know more about a fish supper. Diff had to be replaced, took Hyundai 8.5 months to rectify.

Wipers faulty parking, never fixed.

Directional indicators with a mind of their own, won’t stay on when you need them, won’t shut off when they are supposed to. Never rectified.

Horn not part of alarm system, going off at all times day and night, while car locked and alarmed. They managed to fix this one, when I told them what I suspected, a loose wire behind the airbag on the steering wheel boss.

Intermittent engine management miss, never sorted.

Rear shock, totally pancaked, had to have a new replacement, despite never being off the tarred public roads.

Turn off the ignition at the end of a journey and as soon as the key is removed, the car locks all the doors and alarms itself all before you've even got the drivers door open, service manager suggests customer is hitting the lock button the key!!! Am I pressing it, Every time from new??? I think not.

I finally just had with Hyundai UK and the Hyundai Dealership, who I would just love to shame, only they wouldn't be ashamed, as collectively they have only just about enough brain cells between them, to know not to eat themselves.

I've cut my losses (and they were major, dire depreciation, try finding a dealer who will take one in PX) and got shot of this disaster of a car.

5 year warranty!!!, not much good if they don't have a clue how to fix the cars they are selling to Joe public.
