1991 Ford Explorer review from North America
"Most comfortable suv I have ever owned"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
A fuel line rotted out at 84000. Tune up done when I bought it wires plugs fuel filter, air filter, oil filter, diff's and transmission oil change. Then new shocks and bushiings and a hubs rebuild. All done on my own except trans fluid change you need a fluid exchanger for that.
General comments?
Good truck it can take a beating in the woods. Parts are a dime a dozen. It rides like a car. It also has front end problems between the brakes bearings clapers and tire beating and front end slide around corners when moving any thing faster then 20mph. But other than that it is a good truck, but have bad gas mileage to, but you learn to love it. I am still glade I bought it.
