1988 Holden Commodore VL review from Australia and New Zealand
"Quick six"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Not many things really,
*crank angle sensor
*lifters a bit noisy at first, have replaced, and had no noise for over 2 months until today!may be the cam. i am upgrading that anyway so it doesn't matter. if anyone has had the same prob please let me know.
General comments?
I love my vl to bits, its not standard, i am rebuilding etc. it has been looked after extremely well. i get plenty of looks. the only downfall is when you have a nice car people like to think its theirs and break in. always have an alarm!that's what I've learnt.
It handles extremely well, and the 1988 ltd editions are comfy as inside.
Powerful for a 6.
