2005 Chevrolet Aveo LS review from North America
"I'm impressed!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
So far so good, but it's only been a day :)
General comments?
I just love this car. My husband and I both had a chance to test drive it, shopped around with several other dealers and have had our share of "small cars". Our favorite small car previously was a 1992 honda civic vx - I got about 40 mpg and it ran great, no problems with it for the 160K miles I owned it - I still miss this car! I'm hoping that our experience with the Aveo will be similar.
The aveo has a lot going for it - great trunk space (4 door sedan model), roomy back seats, smooth ride, relatively noiseless for such a small car, and the PRICE! I liked it much better than the Hyundai accent, which just felt cheap and "tinny" in comparison - despite the Hyundai guy trying to tell me he could get it to me cheaper and even with the better warranty Hyundai offers. Also exciting is the 2006 models come with driver and passenger front and SIDE airbags, and it has the built in latch system for child restraint (i know it's probably required and standard now, but I'm impressed!)
