2005 Suzuki Mehran Limited Edition review from Pakistan
"Budget vehicle, but generally reliable"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Indicators, air conditioning, heater control, front section of exhaust, left side lights fuse blowing intermittently due to left (near side) rear side light bulb internal fault, interior light switch sticking and horn switch in the centre of the steering wheel has collapsed from the off side (right).
General comments?
The car does what it says on the tin! It is an A-to-B vehicle and does not pertain to be anything else. I have found it reliable with a few minor faults. The car sits happily at 120 KPH on the motorway, also managing 130 KPH downhill! From an 800cc 3 cylinder petrol engine that is amazing. I have clocked up mainly motorway miles rather than city driving. I still do not know what the economy is, but I think it is poor for a 800cc engine because it is carbureted.
