1987 Audi 4000 CS Quattro review from North America
"An excellent performer, well worth the money"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The headlight switch melted and rear window switches don't work.
General comments?
I was given this car by a good friend because I was moving to Mexico to work in a children's home near dirt/mud roads. Car has surpassed all my expectations. Excellent in the mud, dirt, gravel, etc. The mileage hasn't been as good as I've read in other reviews. I seem to get about 19 mpg. Has been very reliable and steady, even though it's been punished by the ruts, bumps, rocks, ditches, etc. Excellent on the road as well. I'd like a little more power under the hood, but I'm happy to have a great car.
