1988 Renault 25 GTX review from UK and Ireland
"Very good car, solid, and dependable"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The electronic information regarding the radio, temperature, and clock failed due to a dry solder joint. This had also happened on my previous R25.
General comments?
Every available luxury in a car that cost so little to buy.
Although it had a poor fuel consumption in the urban environment, it returned a good 35mpg on motorway runs, and that was at motorway speeds.
Very roomy, and extremely comfortable, I was as refreshed after a run of 250
miles, as I was when I started.
I was always confident that the car
would start first time, every time.
