1999 Chevrolet Tahoe LS review from North America
"Good vehicle w/decent reliability, but pricey"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The day after purchasing the Tahoe brand new the oil cooler line broke spraying oil all throughout the engine compartment.
Front rotors warped and replaced at approx. 25,000 miles.
Alternator at approx. 40,000 miles.
Fuel pump and relay at approx. 50,000 miles. (extremely common problem and $700.00+ for the dealer to fix)
Lower intake manifold cracked at approx. 65,000 ($700.00+ just for the parts)
General comments?
Overall vehicle is very comfortable and feels safe.
Very capable 4 wheel drive
Good power
Drives very nice.
