2002 Daihatsu YRV premium review from UK and Ireland
"Under rated little car with bags of character"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Engine management warning light came on 12000 miles.
Otherwise rock solid.
General comments?
The car is very nippy, it's sort of a sporty mini mpv.
Never had less than 35 mpg even with air-con on and driving swiftly.
Easily seats 4 adults in comfort yet the car is small and extremely agile, the turning circle is minute, so never had to do a 3 point turn in it yet!
Changed the bridgestone tyres for uniroyal rallye which made a big improvement to the grip the car had.
(it rains a lot in wales!)
Front seats are a bit low compared to the rear seats which are 75mm higher.
It's also very exclusive as you hardly see any others around!
It's ideal for driving around town, but spacious and powerful enough to use for long trips.
